15-16 Report/16-17 Outlook: Frequent healthy scratch as a New York Ranger (41.2 GF% & 47.4 CF%) was salvaged from Broadway in a trade for Nicklas Jensen, and immediately joined a line with Alex Burrows and Linden Vey (55.6 GF% & 44.6 CF%) .. first healthy scratch was 13 games into his Canucks career .. responded with a three-point effort upon return, only to follow up with two assists in 17 games before ending with four goals in a five-game point streak (5-4-1-5) playing alongside Bo Horvat (53.8 GF% & 50.7 CF%) – his best pairing totals with any forward including his New York stint .. also made improvement in Corsi relative to when off the ice, from a Q3 -3.44 to Q4 -1.55 that bode for a positive to build upon .. gets to push reset on a forgettable season and a new start to prove he can be a regular, but how long before the speedster starts slowing down and loses playing time?
