We have posted our updated predictions to the NHL subscriber main page. They represent a complete review accouting for injuries and performances since the lockout. We will continue to update you on training camps, trades and whatever else comes up. We just re-worked our projected line combinations as well.
If you are new to McKeen’s Hockey, we have been doing this for twenty years through our annual publication McKeen’s Hockey Pool Yearbook. We first published in time for the 94-95 lockout and launching our first digital edition in another lockout year feels only appropriate.
Please refer to our Welcome/FAQ’s on the main navigation bar for most questions. http://www.mckeenshockey.com/uncategorized/welcome-to-mckeens-website/
We will be updating right through a shortened training camp and a now confirmed start date of Saturday, January 19th, 2013.
There are still print magazines available and we are doing our best to ship daily. If you want expedited shipping it would be $20 in Canada (1 – 3 days) and $30 for the US (2 – 3 days). If you are interested in expedited shipping in North America contact me at info@mckeenshockey.com.
Otherwise you can order the print magazine here: http://www.mckeenshockey.com/store/ at regular mail rates.
Stay tuned for more developments.

When will your updated guide be finally available ?
Hi Jean Claude,
We are very focused on finishing these up. We want them to be a very thorough analysis and are watching many games (those who are playing) for those NHL players with fantasy impact. We are close but will publish our finished list tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, but we want these to be as good as they can be. We will continue to tweak throughout the next two weeks, but wouldn’t want someone to go into a pool with “rushed” list.
Thanks for your patience.
Can you give the approximate time of when it will be available?
We hope to have it ready later this afternoon. Almost there.
Are you going to include goalie projections? For after I paid for subscribe yesterday I remembered why I shouldn’t have. You did not include goalies & you never answered my email. Hopefully I will not regret purchase as goalies are very important in fantasy drafts.
Hi,
We will be provide an top 30 goalie ranking on the website early next week. We have extensive profiles of goaltenders throughout the magazine and website. We have recently added Justin Goldman as Director of Goalie Scouting and he provides some great free insight through the Goalie Guild, hosted here on our site. Check out the January NHL Depth Charts found here http://thegoalieguild.com/wp-content/uploads/releases/depthchartssept2012.pdf We feel we have strong goaltending coverage but are always looking to improve.
We respond to our e-mails and are sorry if we did not get back to you. Best of luck this year.
Website has, but magazine did not as some teams only had starting goalie commented upon. But not wanting to go further as to clarify to others, Rob sent me a personal email of apology to which I respected & appreciated. Let’s move forward to hopefully a great shortened season after both player’s & owner’s whining about money & not having any sympathy for fans whom supply their money (including corporate sponsors) whatsoever…
Also look forward to hopefully being a McKeen’s subscriber for a long time.
Thanks. We appreciate your support and are always looking to improve. The feedback is appreciated.
Hi!
Any chance your updated projections are published today (Jan 13)?
Thanks!
They are up!
Many thanks!
Would it be possible to post a daily list of the updates you make ?
Thanks for the suggestion. It is a good idea, but we won’t be able to implement it for a bit, unfortunately. We will look at it down the road.
Will you be updating the team point total predictions for the 48-game season?
We will update the team point total predictions by the weekend.
I am looking for an update for the hockey draft and from what I see it looks like I have pay again in order to get updates. If that’s the case I will not buy your mag. next year
There is a great deal more content in the online version including Rotowire (a venerable fantasy sports site) updates and recommendations, up to date stats, our editorial notes and updates, among other things. Once the season starts we will be providing current line combinations by player and some great editorial. There are also some cool charts you can sort and download to excel.
We provided a coupon code on page 11 of the magazine for those who had bought the print edition. It took a great deal of work, money and guts to launch the website in a lockout season and we are proud of what we are offering online. We hope you will try the site. If you do, and are not satisfied, we will provide an immediate refund. Just e-mail us at info@mckeenshockey.com
How do I get to the subscriber main page?
Hi David,
The subscriber link is at the very top navigation bar. Please e-mail me at info@mckeenshockey.com if you have further trouble.
Thanks
Rob
